What should I bring?
EXTRA EVERYTHING!
Actually, anything you need can be
purchased in King Salmon but the price may kill you, so bring some
extra batteries, medicines, glasses, anything you can not live
without.
Clothing:
layering is the answer, fleece is the best because of
it's quick drying
winter hats and gloves
GOOD rain suit (pants and coat)
Sunglasses
waterproof hiking boots & waders
NOTHING FANCY!
Alcohol for your consumption
Bug Spray - DEET is best
How do I get there?
Purchase an airline ticket directly to King Salmon, AK
(airport code: AKN). You probably will have to overnight in
Anchorage for arrival Sunday AM. Anchorage has all the hotel chains
represented buy my favorite is Marriot Courtyard. Your departure is
Saturday AM from King Salmon so you can fly home that same day.
